How long will you chase after what is attractive or unattractive?

Whether it’s the spring of Zamzam or the water of life

Eventually we all return to the earth.

تا چند اسیر رنگ و بو خواهی شد
چند از پی هر زشت و نکو خواهی شد
گر چشمه زمزمی و گر آب حیات
آخر به دل خاک فرو خواهی شد

 

This journey of life passes in a marvelous way.

Enjoy the moments as they pass by.

Oh, sad cupbearer, why do you worry about tomorrow?

Bring the cup now, as the night is ending.

این قافله عمر عجب میگذرد
دریاب دمی که با طرب میگذرد
ساقی غم فردای حریفان چه خوری
پیش آر پیاله را که شب میگذر
