Hazrat Ali Hajvairi advice to those following Sufism: Excerpt from Kashaf Al-Majoob

 

In the path of truth, if you wish to become a Sufi, remember that being Sufi is an attribute of Hazrat Abu Bakr Sadiq R.A.

 

For the cleanliness of the soul, there are some rules and ways. The first is to clean the heart of all aghyaar [others]. The second is that the heart is fully empty of all the deceitful world.

 

Both of these are attributes of Hazrat Abu Bakr Sadiq R.A. and that is why you are imam of the leaders who are on the path of tariqa. 

 

Hazrat Abu Bakr Sadiq R.A.’s heart was free of the aghyaar [others]. When at the wasaal of Prophet SAW, all Sahaba were in a state of despair and grief. Hazrat Umar R.A. raised his sword and declared that if someone says that Prophet SAW is no more, I will remove his head. 

 

At such crucial times, Hazrat Abu Bakr Sadiq R.A. arrived and give khutba is loud voice, “Whoever worshipped Prophet SAW, he should know that the Prophet SAW had wasaal. But those who worship Allah should know that Allah is Al-Hayy , The Everliving”

 

Then he recited this Ayat, “Muḥammad is no more than a messenger of Allah; other messengers have gone before him. If he were to die, would you regress into disbelief? Those who do so will not harm Allah whatsoever. And Allah will reward those who are grateful.” – Surah Aal e Imran, Verse 144.

 

The meaning of this is that if somebody believed that the Prophet is to be worshipped, that he understands that he is gone. But if one worships the God of Prophet SAW, then He is Eternal and Immoral. 

 

Whose heart is attached to mortal, then mortal will pass away and leave its despair behind. But whose heart is with The Eternal, then when being [nafs] passes away, the Eternal remains in heart. 

 

So, who observed Muhammad SAW from the lens of mortality, ceased to venerate when he departed in body from this world. 

 

But those who observed him from the eye of Reality, his physical and absence were alike. They did not look at the change, but the Author of change and venerated Muhammad SAW as returning to his Lord per His command. 

 

Hence, do not open your heart to the creations and aghyaar [others], but only the Author. 

 

Whoever looked at creation, those waned. But who returned and followed their God, they reigned

 

The second attribute of Hazrat Abu Bakr Sadiq R.A.that his heart from free from deceits and illusions of world

 

[When Prophet SAW appealed at Ghaza Tabook], Hazrat Abu Bakr Sadiq R.A. took all his belongings and worldly valuables to give them away. 

 

Prophet asked, “O’ Sadiq, did you leave anything for family”

 

“Only Allah and His Apostle SAW”, Hazrat Abu Bakr Sadiq R.A replied. Such is quality of true Sufi that the only treasure and valuable is love and obedience for Allah and Prophet SAW.
