Alif Allah Chambe Di Booti, Murshid Mann Vich Lai Hu
Naffee Isbaat Da Panai Milia, Har Raggi Harjaai Hu
Andar Booti Mushk Machaaya, Jaan Phullan Te Aae Hu
Jeeve Murshid Kaamil Bahu, Jain Eh Booti Laee Hu

الف الله چمبے دی بوٹی،میرے من وچ مرشد لائی ھو
نفی اثبات دا پانی مل سیں،ہر رگے ہر جائی ھو
اندر بوٹی مشک مچایا،جاں پھلاں تے آئی ھو
جیوے مرشد کامل باہو ،جیں ایہہ بوٹی لائی ھو

My Spiritual Mentor implanted within my heart the seeds of Allah’s name, Hoo!
I am watered down with the teaching that only Allah’s reality is real, rest is unreal
The seeds of Murshid blossomed fragrance of Musk, my being is now is full of Divine fragrance
May my perfect (Kamil) Master live long, who cultivated such seeds in me.

الف الله پڑھیوں پڑھ حافظ ہویوں،ناں گیا حجابوں پردا ھو
پڑھ پڑھ عالم فاضل ہویوں ،پر طالب ہویوں زر دا ھو
سے ہزار کتاباں پڑھیاں ،پر ظالم نفس نہ مردا ھو
باجھ فقیراں کسے نہ ماریا باہو، ایہہ ظالم چوراندر دا ھو

Parh Parh Aalim Faazil Hoyon, Taalib Hoyon Zarr Daa Hu
Lakh Hazar Kitabaan Parhiaan, Zaalim Nafs Naa Marda Hu
Baajh Faqearaan Kisse Na Maareya, Eho Zalim Chor Andar Daa Hu

 

You have said Allah repeatedly and becomes Hafiz, but there still remains a veil [between you and Divine]
You have learned and become scholar, but you self craves for worldly desires
You are studies thousands books, but those haven’t destroyed your carnal ego [nafs]
Only a true saint that destroy such ego, this thief is one that is hidden in the very house it lives within.
