Baba Farid is one of the most loved and revered Sufi poets in Punjab. His verses are integrated deeply within Punjabi culture, but also found in the religious scripts of Sikhism, the sacred Granth Sahib. His message is simple, a call for Universal Love for All, as he speaks of love to be like a river that feeds human, animals, birds regardless of religions, creed or race.
