Farsi language is arguably the language of Sufism & Tusawaf. Whether it is Rumi’s Masnavi, popularly known as the Quran of Persian, Hafiz’s Diwan, or Allama Iqbal Pyaam-e-Mashriq; Farsi has always remained the lingua franca of creating rubaiyay and verses. As Allama Iqbal said that Hindi/Urdu is beautiful but more language feels as natural as Farsi when it comes to poetry.
