Sun Charkhe Di Mithi Mithi Kook [every spin of my Charkha reminds me of my beloved] is a Punjabi folk song. Charkha, the traditional spinning wheel used to weave thread, is often mentioned within Folk and Sufi songs to depict the passage of time as a lover waits for the return of her beloved. As the lover spins the wheel of Charkha, the sound of every spin makes her long for her beloved.
