Qasida Burda Sharif or Al-Burda (Ode of the Blanket/Mantle) is an tribute Naat written by Egyptian Sufi Imam al-Busiri in praise of the Prophet SAW. It is narrated that Imam wrote it during his paralysis and saw Prophet appearing in his dream, wrapping him in a blanket and curing him of the illness. It has been performed by artist across the Muslim world, some examples below.
