Dayar e Ishq Mein Apna Maqam Paida Kar is a poem that Allama Muhammad Iqbal wrote when he went to Round Table conference in London. His son Javed Iqbal wrote to him to bring a gramophone for him, which was popular those days. Allama didn’t bring it but wrote this poem, in which he advised him not to follow western values and never let qualities of Faqeeri let go.
