Mir Muhammad Bedar [d. 1795], who originate from Delhi ad was prominent fellow of Indian Chishtia brotherhood, wrote this beautiful Kalam. Only of a few of his kalam [mostly ghazals] are preserved now.

It is the aspiration for the Prophet that brings one from non-existence into existence.

I discovered a treasure of unfulfilled desires in me.

I found Ka’aba in my heart, and Medina in my liver.

The oyster gave the pearl, and the pearl decorated the ring

The transpiration of Muhammad is higher than perfume.

It is aspiration for the Prophet that brings one from non-existence into existence.

The search for the Prophet takes one everywhere.

Every flower blossoms in the garden of Zehra.

In the one there is the colour of Ali

in the other, the smell of the Prophet.

Why the hand of God should not be Ali, the Tiger of God?

The essence of solutions was bestowed on Ali, the Conquerror?

Just as Muhammad is unique; nobody was or will be born like Ali.

Numberless stars came into existence, whenever the Prophet smiled with pleasure.

O’ my love for the Prophet, may I hold you eternally in affection!

My heart is being drawn towards the Prophet.

O’Bedar ! There will be a strange sight on the Day of Judgement.

Everybody will be in front of God; and I, in front of the Prophet.
