Below story of Mulla Nasruddin, a comic character who acts like a simpleton but has deeper meaning, describes this:

One day Mullah Nasruddin was throwing pieces of bread all around his house. “What are you doing”, someone asked.

“I am throwing breaks to keep the tigers away”, Mulla replied.

“But there are no tigers here!”, the person asked in amazement

“Exactly! Isn’t my method effective?!!”
